I haven’t been very active on this page so here’s a bit of a life update:
For those of you who don’t know, I moved to Cheongju, Korea 🇰🇷 in 2019 to teach English. Since then, I have been constantly creating travel content shared on my personal brand page ✨
After the end of my 2nd teaching contract, I got a job at a Korean content publisher based in Seoul. My job involves writing articles about K-Pop and K-Dramas, attending media showcases/concerts, interviewing stars, and more.
Although I am visiting home (South Africa 🇿🇦) at the moment, I’m working from home and will be back in Korea in a few months time.
I’ve decided to start sharing some of the work I do on here. This particular photoshoot was for an interview we did with the K-Pop girl group last year around Christmas time. 🎄📸

Definitely miss being able to sit down for a coffee in all the pretty cafes here. Part of Korea’s response to COVID (we’re currently averaging 800-1000 cases per day) is making cafes takeout-only and closing restaurants and cafes at 9pm. Its amazing how many simple things we take for granted until we can’t do them. What’s your favorite weekend hobby?☕️
