Have you ever come across a photograph that was so rich, so vivid, and so poignant that it made you linger longer than a casual glance?
Known for his signature blend of vibrant and avant-garde imagery, Andy Warhol’s works will make your eyes go through a psychedelic adventure. He was a prolific artist and a leading figure in the visual art movement known as Pop Art.
His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, advertising, and celebrity culture that flourished in the 1960s, and span a variety of media, including painting, silkscreening, photography, film, and sculpture. Some of his best known works include silkscreen paintings Campbell's Soup Cans and Marilyn Diptych, the experimental films Empire and Chelsea Girls, and the multimedia events known as the Exploding Plastic Inevitable.
Though as creative as he was, copyright claims from the figures he re-created haunted his style due to the nature of it.
