Filmmaking has evolved with the use of manitous. You need to block, add or bounce, then call in these bad boys. Had the pleasure of working on this film kingsman. Always amazes me what new techniques and equipment are used to get . Wouldn’t choose any other career.

Unraveling some of my posters and bits and bobs from various projects and came across this. This was an early concept painting for the ‘Gladiator’ poster. After we wrapped I was on the project for a further 3 months until all departments had left. Don’t know who the artist as it wasn’t signed. Guessing they thought it was too dark for the poster.

The KeyArt shot I took for Good Karma Hospital season 4. Always great to be able to work and be near my family in Sri Lanka. . After nearly 18 months in lockdown was amazing to get back on set again.

Starting a new project. ‘The Shooting Floor Plan Project’. Being an Assistant Director I have had the pleasure of watching some of the best directors and DoPs shoot a scene and drawing these floor plans. I have 1000s of them but I have decided to put that knowledge to good use by picking my favourite scenes in film history and break them down into floor plans. Not as easy as you would think. It’s amazing how equipment and techniques have changed over the years to bring more dynamic camera movements. lovefilm . If you anyone reading this worked on this particular film can you let me know how accurate I am? This is just a sample of a scene that was around 130 cuts and about 25 angles. Obvious details in the next page will give you the film and scene. Will post the full scene floor plan soon.

Going back a couple of years now but came across this nugget from 2017, I think? shot in Italy, Lake Como, Portofino and Milan. What an amazing place to shoot and Satya got to meet her favourite friend.

with the up and coming Euro Final with England vs Italy It would be great if the England fans would not boo Italy’s national anthem or every time they touch the ball. It goes against everything that Sport is and I’m hoping, as a nation we are better than that. There is no place for booing anywhere and time we got past it. Just standing up for what I think is right.
