⚠️ WARNING: Day Time Observation Precautions ⚠️
Observing the Sun, the New Moon (during day time) is extremely dangerous and can cause permanent damage to your eyes and equipment. Never point cameras, telescopes, or binoculars directly at the Sun without using a proper solar filter that is specifically designed for this purpose and securely mounted
This applies to all times of day and all solar events, including eclipses. Looking at the Sun through an unfiltered optical device can cause instantaneous and irreversible retinal burns, leading to permanent vision loss. Similarly, the concentrated heat and light can destroy a camera's sensor or the internal components of a telescope.
Please ensure you have adequate training and the correct equipment before attempting any form of observations of Sun or objects close to the Sun.
