I virtually see the world and the
myriad colours which envelope our lives through the lens of my
camera. Capturing unique moments during Weddings gives me enormous
satisfaction and a great thrill. It was perhaps destiny and my undoubted good
fortune that I met Mr. Jerome Crusz, the master photographer who had
earned the admiration and respect of his peers. Working on assignments
editing video ,
I soon started picking up photographic skills from
him first-hand. By the time I was 22 I obtained my first camera and
was thus able to practise my craft independently. A hard task master
to the core, Mr Jerome Crusz instilled in me discipline and insisted
on my acquiring a sound technique before undertaking any professional
photographic assigments. My next stroke of good luck was when I met my role model, Mr
Dimitri Crusz, son of Mr. Jerome Crusz. He immediately got interested
in my work and started guiding me to further enhance my skills. Endless feedbacks and technical suggestions saw to it that my
competence in photography improved tremendously in a short period of
time. Our association grew closer as we worked together over the next
4 years. From both these masters of photography, I acknowledge I have
learned a lot. They guided me not merely on the rudiments of
photography, but constantly encouraged me to develop a style of my
own. Today I have reached the stage where, with my masters' blessings,
I can proudly say I have become a Professional Photographer. My work in the photography of Weddings, product shoots, and video
editing, has what I would like to call a distinctive "MohaanBabu"
style at the same time showing shades of the artistry of my masters.
