Spotted the legend himself casually owning the road in Kumana. No traffic, no worries, just Nero doing king things.

Meet the Sri Lankan Kangaroo Lizard (Otocryptis wiegmanni) — a ground-dwelling reptile found only in Sri Lanka. With its upright posture and rapid sprints, it vanishes into the leaf litter like a shadow. Captured deep within the ancient wilderness of Wilpattu National Park.

🦎 Common Name: Sri Lankan Kangaroo Lizard
🧬 Scientific Name: Otocryptis wiegmanni
🌍 Status: Endemic to Sri Lanka
🏞️ Habitat: Moist lowland forests and dry-zone jungles like Wilpattu
