Inauguration of Queen's Park | 03.02.2025

As a model project of a government institution and the public working together, the Queen Park was opened on 3rd february 2025 by the District Government Agent, Mr. A. Umamageswaran, in the area belonging to the Pudukkudiyiruppu Regional Council, to provide entertainment for children and adults alike. Mullaitivu District Secretary A. Umamageswaran was the chief guest, Mullaitivu Additional District Secretary C. Gunapalan was the special guest, Divisional Secretary C. Jayakanth, Pudukkudiyiruppu Regional Health Service Station Medical Officer P. Sathyarupan, Pudukkudiyiruppu Regional Council Secretary S. Krishanthan, Pudukkudiyiruppu Trade Association President Navaneethan, Director and Manager of Avalon Company, clergy, Pudukkudiyiruppu Regional Council officials, Janashakthi Pre-School students and many others were present at the event. The park has been designed to provide a variety of activities for adults, such as a photo shoot area, ghost house, archery, Gun Shooting game, walking track, and pedal boating, as well as games for children and a pleasant day out. The park in question had been unused for a long time and was renovated and re-opened as Queen's Park by Mr. P. Subaskaran of the Puthukkudiyiruppu area of ​​Mullaitivu.

அரச நிறுவனமும், பொதுமக்களும் இணைந்து செயற்படும் செயற்திட்டத்தின் முன்மாதிரியான செயற்பாடாக சிறியவர்கள் முதல் பெரியவர்கள் வரை பொழுதுபோக்கும் வகையில் புதுக்குடியிருப்பு பிரதேச சபைக்கு சொந்தமான பகுதியில் குயின் பூங்காவானது 03 பிப்ரவரி 2025 அன்று, மாவட்ட அரசாங்க அதிபர் திரு அ. உமாமகேஸ்வரன் அவர்களால் திறந்து வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. குறித்த நிகழ்வில் முதன்மை விருந்தினராக முல்லைத்தீவு மாவட்ட செயலாளர் அ. உமாமகேஸ்வரன், சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக முல்லைத்தீவு மேலதிக மாவட்ட செயலாளர் சி. குணபாலன், பிரதேச செயலாளர் சி. ஜெயகாந்த், புதுக்குடியிருப்பு பிராந்திய சுகாதார சேவை பணிமனையின் வைத்திய அதிகாரி பி. சத்தியரூபன், புதுக்குடியிருப்பு பிரதேசசபை செயலாளர் ச. கிருசாந்தன், புதுக்குடியிருப்பு வர்த்தக சங்க தலைவர் நவநீதன், அவலோன் நிறுவனத்தின் பணிப்பாளர் மற்றும் முகாமையாளர், மதகுருமார்கள், புதுக்குடியிருப்பு பிரதேசசபை உத்தியோகத்தர்கள், ஜனசக்தி முன்பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் என பலரும் கலந்து கொண்டிருந்தனர். குறித்த பூங்காவில், புகைப்படம் எடுக்கும் பகுதி, பேய் வீடு, அம்பெய்தல், துப்பாக்கி சுடுதல், நடைபாதை, படகோட்டம் போன்ற பல்வேறு பெரியவர்களுக்கான விளையாட்டுக்கள், சிறியவர்களுக்கான விளையாட்டுக்கள் மற்றும் இனிமையான நாளை கொண்டாடுவதற்கு ஏற்ற நிலையிலும், இடங்கள் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. குறித்த பூங்காவானது நீண்டகாலமாக பாவனையற்று இருந்த நிலையில் அதனை சீர் செய்து மீண்டும் புதுப்பொலிவுடன் குயின் பூங்காவாக முல்லைத்தீவு புதுக்குடியிருப்பு பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த திரு ப. சுபாஸ்கரன் அவர்களால் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
