The ETX-10P is an active 2-way system with a 10" SMX2100 woofer, a 1.25" DH3-B compression driver, has a built-in DSP module with LCD display and a circular k**b to control and select settings. All components were designed specifically for this series. Bass: The SMX2100 10" passively cooled woofer was inspired by the experience of the TourX Series. The use of Faraday rings provides significantly better vocal reproduction. This woofer has a long service life and increased mechanical reliability. At the same time it has a low distortion, smooth frequency response and high sound pressure level at maximum output. The placement of the reflex port under the horn above the woofer minimizes distortion and standing waves inside the system. This location of the reflex port allows the woofer and driver to be spaced apart, resulting in a more compact system. HF driver: DH3-B compression driver features a 1.25" titanium oxide sprayed convex diaphragm and a 1" output. Advanced design techniques and tight manufacturing tolerances ensure impeccable driver sound. The driver's high sensitivity ensures maximum sound pressure that is comparable to that of large drivers. Horn: 90° x 60° opening. Horn built with SST™ technology to provide uniform sound coverage within the opening angles. Designed using the latest software to optimize horn shape for accurate coverage with minimal distortion. The use of a compact driver has allowed the use of a longer horn, which provides higher sound pressure without increasing the size of the system. The horn protrudes forward from the woofer, allowing the tweeter and woofer to be physically timed, minimizing the use of DSP delays. Built-in amplifier: Class D digital amplifier module. Power limit of 2000 watts. Has a quiet fan that turns on at high temperatures. Built-in crossover: Has high steepness of slope and rise. Edge-compensating filters are designed to provide the same sound in any way the system can be used: as a floor monitor, suspended from the ceiling, or mounted on a rack. Limiters: PAL - Peak Anticipation Limiter. TEMP is a temperature limiter. Overload indication on LCD display and LED indicator on front side. FIR-Drive Technology: The latest generation of built-in FIR filter technology eliminates the need for a separate equalizer. It provides the most linear phase response of the whole system. DSP module: LCD display. Control with just one k**b. Selectable system position: monitor, installation, rack, stand. Choice of sound type: live performance, speech, music. Selectable high-pass filter frequency for subwoofer operation: 80, 100, 120, 150 Hz. Choice of delay from 0 to 343 m in 25 cm steps. 3-band parametric equalizer from -12dB to +6dB with frequency selection. Simple menu lock that prevents accidental resetting. Press and hold the control k**b for 5 seconds to disable the lock. Body: 18mm 13-ply birch plywood. EV-Coat coating provides excellent appearance and durability. Powder-coated steel mesh. Two glasses: 0° and 7.5° (for mounting on rack at an angle). Handles, rack sleeves and amplifier chassis are made of cast aluminum, not plastic. Eight M10 mounting points for suspending systems: six on top of the cabinet, two on the bottom. Ability to mount as a floor monitor at an angle of 40°. Connectors: 2 combined XLR/TRS inputs. Both line and microphone signals can be fed to each input. Two independent input level controls. One XLR output for transferring the total input signal to another speaker.
