This morning, I spent a few hours documenting the traditional Jumping Procession (“Sprangprëssioun”) in Echternach 📸

Recognised as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, this centuries-old tradition is one of Luxembourg’s most unique and fascinating cultural events. What struck me most — beyond the procession itself — were all the small human moments surrounding it: the musicians, the pilgrims, the spectators watching from windows, the emotions, the concentration and the incredible sense of community throughout the city.

These are exactly the kinds of moments I love capturing most 😊

This post is just a quick first teaser from this morning. Once I’ve finished editing the full gallery, I’ll share a link where everyone will be able to browse and freely download their pictures.

And as always: feel free to tag people you recognise so they can find and save their own memories ❤️

This afternoon, I stopped by the church in Beaufort to photograph the moving exhibition “Dat doten ass nach eent vom Simchen” 📸⛪

Between the multiple HDR exposures, I also captured a few behind-the-scenes moments 🎥
It’s always fascinating to see traditional craftsmanship and local heritage being preserved and shared this way.

If you’re in the area tomorrow, it’s absolutely worth taking a look 😊

✨ Official Launch ✨

What started many years ago as a passion has now officially become reality:

Welcome to OliGlod Photography 😊

Photography has always been much more than simply taking pictures for me.
It is about emotions, memories, atmosphere and authentic moments — the kind you can truly feel again years later.

From weddings and events to real estate, drone photography, workshops and my brand-new “Beyond the Postcard” experience, my goal is always the same:

📸 Creating honest, timeless and meaningful images.

To celebrate this official launch, I’m excited to offer:

➡️ 15% OFF every wedding or event booked before the end of June 2026
(valid for events taking place in 2026 or 2027)

And because every celebration deserves something special…

🎉 On June 1st, a giveaway will launch on my website, giving one lucky couple the chance to win free wedding coverage (half-day package) — or the equivalent value as a discount on a full-day package.

More details coming very soon 😉

If you’d like to support my journey, I’d truly appreciate it if you could:
❤️ Like this post
🔁 Share it with friends and family
🏷️ Tag someone who’s getting married, planning an event — or who simply deserves to save a little money 😉

A huge thank you to everyone who has already supported, encouraged and trusted me throughout this journey. It truly means the world to me.

What a wonderful weekend at the Musée Thillenvogtei in Rindschleiden during the Luxembourg Museum Days 😊

It was a real pleasure spending the day documenting this beautiful place and all the passion behind it. From the smell of freshly baked bread coming out of the traditional oven to the countless little details hidden throughout the museum, every corner felt alive with history.

One of the highlights for me was watching the children discover and take part in the old baking process — their excitement and curiosity were absolutely priceless 🥖✨

A huge congratulations and thank you to the entire team and all volunteers who worked tirelessly throughout the weekend to create such a warm and authentic experience for visitors of all ages. Your dedication truly showed in every detail 👏

And of course, the setting itself is simply magical. Rindschleiden may be Luxembourg’s smallest village, but it has an atmosphere and charm that are impossible to forget ❤️

A small throwback to Rindschleiden in 2022 — and a little teaser for tomorrow 😊

This weekend, Luxembourg Museum Days are taking place all over the country, with free entrance and special animations in many museums. I’ll be at the Musée Thillenvogtei tomorrow to document the day, and I’m really looking forward to capturing the atmosphere, the details, the people and all the little moments that make this place so special.

If you’ve never been, the Thillenvogtei is definitely worth a visit. It’s not your typical museum — it feels more like stepping into a living memory of rural Luxembourg, with rooms, objects and stories that bring the past beautifully back to life.

And if you’re looking for something different to do with the whole family this weekend: come to Rindschleiden, enjoy the special programme, visit the museum, and don’t miss the lovely little church next door either.

See you there tomorrow? 😄

Throwback to when I shot these images for Ou — an incredibly talented masseuse offering some of the most intense, authentic, and deeply relaxing Thai massages around 🙏✨

Her attention to detail, calming atmosphere, and technique make every session a real experience. Already looking forward to our next shoot together scheduled for June 📸

If you’re in or around Echternach and need to properly switch off, I can highly recommend booking a session with Ou.

For the past few years, I’ve found myself repeatedly drawn back to the same subject with my camera: the Aquatower in Berdorf.

At first glance, photographing the same structure over and over again might sound limiting.
In reality, it has been the exact opposite.

Different seasons.
Different weather.
Different moods.
Different light.

What fascinates me most is how this one landmark can completely transform depending on the moment you encounter it.

With my photography website finally going live, it felt only right to dedicate my very first blog post to this ongoing passion project 😊

If you’d like to discover more about the project — and why I believe every photographer should have a passion project — the full article is now live on my website 📷

A city trip is never just about the city.

It’s about the people you travel with.
The time you actually have.
The weather you get.
The energy you bring.
The places you planned to visit… and the ones you discover by accident.

And yet, so many of us come home with the same thought:

“I wish I had photographed this differently.”

My City Trips workshop is designed to help you approach your next trip with more intention — not by overplanning every photo, but by understanding what kind of experience you want to have before you even leave.

We’ll talk about preparing realistically, choosing the right gear, dealing with busy places, working with changing light, and making photographs that feel personal rather than predictable.

Because a good city trip is not about chasing every landmark.

It’s about noticing what the city gives you:
a quiet moment,
a beautiful façade,
a reflection,
a small human detail,
a scene that somehow says, “this is what it felt like to be there.”

If you love travelling with your camera but often feel you could get more from your city trips, this workshop is for you.

More details soon.
