Sous le slogan unificateur "اكرم ارحل", les supporters ont maintenu un sit-in exemplaire pour exiger la démission du président Abdelilah Akram face à la crise du club. Cet épisode illustre parfaitement que l'histoire et l'avenir du Wydad Athletic Club appartiennent avant tout à son public inconditionnel.
