ad 🏡 Comment CABIN for Airbnb link ⬇️

I’ve found the dreamiest countryside escape hidden amongst the hills of rural Wales 🌿

💬 Comment CABIN on this post, and I’ll send you the link to this Airbnb, along with more of my favourite cabin stays in the UK.

Tucked away on a working farm near the Elan Valley, this rustic-luxury cabin is the perfect place to switch off and slow down. Surrounded by rolling Welsh countryside and forestry, there are endless walks straight from the cabin door, plus you’re in a designated dark sky area, which means incredible stargazing at night.

The cabin sleeps up to 4 guests, with a cosy double bedroom downstairs and a king-size bed tucked into the loft mezzanine. Inside, there’s underfloor heating, a log burner, Smart TV with Sky Cinema & Netflix, board games for cosy evenings in, and thoughtful touches like Egyptian cotton bedding, robes, Turkish towels and a lovely welcome hamper filled with Welsh cakes, prosecco and snacks.

Our favourite moments were definitely the slow mornings on the veranda, enjoying a full English fry-up and cups of tea overlooking the hills, followed by evenings around the firepit roasting marshmallows as the sun dipped over the surrounding hills. The highlight of my stay was the private wood-fired hot tub, which is where I spent most of my afternoons after a long countryside walk. The nearest town is Rhayader, around 20 minutes away by car, and Hafren Forest is about 35 minutes away if you fancy exploring more of the area.

This Airbnb is perfect for couples, families or anyone craving a peaceful weekend reset in nature.

I chose this cruise specifically because it has a large open-air rooftop terrace, which was perfect for sightseeing and taking photos with iconic Parisian landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Notre Dame. The food was banging too, and the portions were HUGE, it’s incredible value for everything that’s included.

This is the perfect activity to book if it’s your first time in Paris, as it’s an easy way to see the city without having to navigate public transport. I’ve actually been to Paris more than a dozen times, but I wish I had done this cruise earlier; it’s such a fun date night or evening out with friends.

Welcome to Thailand’s best-kept secret: Koh Mak! This small island, located in the Trat Province, is what Thailand felt like 20-30 years ago. It’s easily reached from Bangkok, however is free from the crowds that flock to Phuket or Koh Samui.

With white sandy beaches, great snorkelling, incredible seafood, friendly locals and a strong focus on eco-conscious resorts, my days visiting Koh Mak revolved around swimming, cycling and doing very little (which is exactly what my body needed!).

Koh Mak is also known for its sustainability efforts. It has been recognised as one of the Top 100 Green Destinations globally and is often referred to as one of Thailand’s leading low-carbon islands.

Here’s my quick guide to Koh Mak, however I strongly recommend heading to my blog for my full detailed guide so you have everything you need to know to plan a trip to this special island.

🏝️ Best beaches

Ao Suan Yai, Ao Kao, Laem Son Beach, Ao Pra Beach, Ao Tan Beach

– Half-day Trip to Koh Kham

🛏️ Where to stay

I’d highly recommend staying on either the south or west coast of the island, as these areas have some of the best beaches and are perfectly positioned for sunset each evening. Hotel recommendations:

🇹🇭 The best hotel in the world ⬇️

Welcome to , which has picked up a number of awards, including being officially named the number 1 hotel in the world in 2024 by the World’s 50 Best Hotels award, and after having the pleasure of staying here, I can wholeheartedly agree!

Capella Bangkok is truly on another level - and if you’ve had a scroll on my feed lately then you’ll know I’ve stayed at some of the most insane hotels across the glove. What stood out to me the most was the service at Capella. It’s impeccable! It felt like the staff could read my mind and anticipate what I needed before I even realised it myself.

Located right on the Chao Phraya River, it feels like a tropical oasis, with lush landscaping and a soft river breeze that genuinely made me forget I was still in Bangkok (a city known for it’s hot and stick temps, but not at Capella).

All rooms and villas have river views, and I counted my blessings each morning I woke up in my Verandah King Suite, which came with a private terrace and hot tub that I made full use of every afternoon for sunset.

There’s also an award-winning spa with a beautiful relaxation area, a fully equipped fitness centre, and a large infinity pool with poolside cabanas that are very easy to spend a full day in.

Dinner at the two-Michelin-star Côte by Mauro Colagreco was a core memory moment, followed by contemporary cocktails at Stella, Capella’s very opulent hotel bar. Lunch is best spent at Phra Nakhon, their riverside restaurant serving beautifully presented Thai dishes. I highly recommend the Gaeng Phed Ped Yang, genuinely the best duck curry I’ve ever had. And as for breakfast… easily one of the best hotel breakfasts of my life. No notes!

✅ 4 day itinerary📍Places to visit ⭐️ Must-do activities 🍽️ Best restaurants 🏩 Where to stay + hotel recommendations 📆 Best time to visit + how many days to spend in Cappadocia 🚗 How to get to & around⁣⁣ Cappadocia + a saveable Google Map with all locations pinned 🗺️⁣

🇹🇷 4 day Cappadocia Itinerary ⬇️

I recommend staying for at least 4 full days — not only because there’s so much more to explore beyond the hot air balloons, but also because they don’t fly every day! On my last trip, they only took flight once during the week, so make sure to give yourself enough time to catch them.

Base yourself in Göreme, the heart of Cappadocia and the best place to see the balloons at sunrise.

DAY 1
Spend your first day wandering through Göreme’s charming cobblestone streets, exploring its cave houses and cozy cafés. Stop by Galerie İkman, a carpet shop where you can book a photoshoot in their colourful courtyard, grab a drink at a rooftop bar (I recommend Seten), and end the night with dinner at Helke, my favourite meal from the trip!

DAY 2
Visit Paşabağ Valley, known for its fairy chimneys – ancient rock formations once home to monks in the 4th century. Then head to Avanos, Turkey’s pottery capital, to join a pottery workshop and create your own handmade souvenir.

DAY 3
By day three, hopefully, it’s balloon flight day! After your early sunrise start, relax by your hotel pool or treat yourself to a traditional Turkish hammam & spa experience. In the evening, book a sunset horse riding tour through Rose Valley.

DAY 4
Explore Love Valley to see more fairy chimneys (or go on an a thrilling ATV tour!). End your trip with a romantic dinner at Lila Restaurant or a glass of wine at a scenic vineyard in Uçhisar for sunset.
