Cape Spartel is a promontory in Morocco about 1,000 feet above sea level at the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar, 12 km west of Tangier. It is the northwesternmost point of the African continent. Below the cape are the Caves of Hercules.

The lighthouse overlooks the point where the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean meet. On a clear day, it is possible to see the coast of Spain. The views from the top of the lighthouse are spectacular, although it is a bit of climb. Definitely one of the must see sites in Tangier.

جزيرة تورة، جزيرة ليلى هي جزيرة تقع في مضيق جبل طارق وسيادة الجزيرة متنازع عليها بين إسبانيا والمغرب

تقع جزيرة تورة على بعد 200 متر أو أقل بقليل من الشاطئ المغربي. وبينها وبين مدينة طنجة 40 كلم وبينها وبين مدينة سبتة المغربية التي تحتلها إسبانيا 8 كلم، ويبعد عنها أقرب شاطئ إسباني بـ 14 كلم.

تبلغ مساحة تلك الجزيرة الخالية من السكان 13.5 هكتارا. وقد كانت من حين لآخر مأوى لبعض الصيادين والرعاة المغاربة الذين يسكنون في جبل موسى غير البعيد من الجزيرة.

the Roxy cinema dates from the 1930s. Closed for a long time, it was restored in 2007 and reopened to the public. If this mythical cinema of the Pearl of the Straits has managed to find a second wind, this is not the case for many other cinemas that have closed their doors one after the other. There was a time when Tangier had 14 cinemas. The Roxy was one of the first cinemas to open in Morocco. Its programming focuses on Moroccan and French films.
