Exploring color through culture 🇻🇳📸

As someone who is deeply interested in color, experimenting with the Creative Look on the SONY A7R6 was one of the most exciting parts of my experience at Sony Kando Trip SEA.

From cinematic tones and rich colors to more elegant, heritage-inspired looks and even black and white, it was fascinating to see how different visual moods could be created directly in the camera.

For this cultural portrait in the beautiful Hue Imperial City, I was especially drawn to colors that feel rich, timeless, and slightly royal tones that complement the history, architecture, and traditional costume.

What I also loved was being able to capture these moments in 66-megapixel JPEG, giving me a high-quality image straight out of the camera while exploring different creative looks.

Photography is not only about recording what we see.
Sometimes, color helps us express what a place feels like. ❤️📸

Another exciting journey ahead — Italy 🇮🇹📸🎉

I’m grateful to share that my Inle Photo Essay was selected among 745 submissions from 98 countries, with only 15 young creators selected worldwide, for the UNESCO × vivo Capture the Future – Global Youth Storytelling Initiative for People & Nature. 🎉

I’ll be joining a one-week Training Camp at the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano Biosphere Reserve, Italy, learning and creating alongside international experts and young creators through Photography & Video Storytelling. 📸🎥

Flights, accommodation, visa and the program are fully arranged and supported by UNESCO.

For me, this journey is more than visiting Italy. It’s an opportunity to learn from new people, experience new perspectives, and tell stories in better and more meaningful ways.

As a young creator from Myanmar, I’m truly grateful and proud to be part of this global community.

Opportunities don’t always come looking for us. Sometimes, they appear when we keep learning, creating and believing in what we do.

After the Sony Southeast Asia Kando Trip in Vietnam 🇻🇳, I’ll be heading to Italy 🇮🇹. The journey may be tiring, but I’m ready to make every opportunity count.

And when I return, I hope to share what I learn with the next generation of young creators in Myanmar. 🇲🇲📸
