Come with me on a wedding photoshoot in the North West of Mauritius! It was one of those perfect sunny days—bright, with a cool breeze that made it so comfortable to work in.

We were at The Sakoa Boutique Hotel in Trou aux Biches with a lovely European couple. After they exchanged rings and signed the official papers, they grabbed a quick drink and went straight into their photo session.

I’m obsessed with the high-contrast shots we got; the direct sunlight created such a bold, clean look, which is what we see on every poster of Mauritius. I really enjoyed just stepping back and capturing those genuine, candid moments.
