I learned diving in 2022 and since then it has felt less like a skill and more like therapy.

Underwater I don’t feel like I’m working I feel like I’m exploring observing and quietly building stories through my lens to share and hopefully inspire.

But the truth is the ocean still scares me Even in shallow water near the beach I hesitate to go in alone That fear never fully disappears it just comes with me dive after dive and I hope to keep it with me always.

I’m grateful for the people I’ve met in this field who have guided me corrected me and encouraged me to start anyway. There is so much to learn and I will always be a beginner in the ocean.

Fun dives with an amazing crew in Noonu Atoll //
Explored 6 dive sites around the atoll. No sunlight during any of the dives, but the ocean still gave us a few beautiful moments to capture. Loved how organized and ready everything always was when I was diving with Velaa Team.
