Thank you KMA Lighthouse Rental for hosting Erik and I last night at your lovely "KMA Nordic Lighthouse". It was the perfect couple's mid-week getaway! 😍

You guys, what a gem 💎 this place is and situated close by in Five Islands. It is perfectly decorated for a unique stay in one of 2 of KMA's lighthouse rentals.

This unit has 3 levels. The main level has a bedroom, both bathrooms, kitchen/dining area, and the living room area.

Off the dining area on the driveway side you will see a BBQ area and some outdoor seating. On the other side you will find a wine barrel (you had me at wine 🍷) sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub.

Heading up the stairs into the lighthouse, the 2nd level has another bedroom area, and a spiral staircase that takes you to the top level in what I call the "birds nest" of the lighthouse.
The 3rd level has 2 swinging chairs, an electric fireplace, and a telescope for star gazing.

A lovely stay was had during a wintery day, excited to check this place out in the summer months!

Day 6 at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa :

Joined the resort bike tour....which I am pleased to say that its been over 20 years since I was on a bike....and I didnt fall off (go me!)

Dinner was at the Teppanyaki which never disappoints!

Lazy day then the Italian restaurant for dinner.

Day 4 at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa :

Hydrotherapy and couples massages at the Spa.
Dinner was the "Members Gala" at the beach club.

Day 3 at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa;

Lazy day as we stayed out til almost 4 this morning. SLEEP was a must.

Dinner was at the steakhouse and everything was perfect!
And yes...I did find a little library and got a new to me book!

Day 2 at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa :
The boys checked out the hydrotherapy at the Spa and the ladies lazed at the pool.

We ate at Oishii Street Food for dinner. Quick buffet style with Asian inspired options such as pot stickers, pad Thai made to order, and kabobs.

We were encouraged to check it out and it didnt disappoint!

Yesterday we ventured down to Hubbards to check out the annual "Festive Market" at Black Harbour Distillers Inc.

In the summer, my cousin raved about their "902 Rum", however we never had a chance to swing by.
This was also recommended before the owner appeared on "The Dragon's Den", if you havent seen it, check it out!

SO glad we made the time to stop in. I sampled a Caesar with their Lobster Vodka, gotta say I am a new fan!

Walked away with some interesting vodkas to add to the liquor cart. Looking forward to summer when we can experience their patio!
