You have to love Cellulitis. Incredibly boring but potentially fatal. "Antibioticed" to the hilt. Death is a possible fate should the "penicillin" not do the job. The reddened area feels like a blow torch is being directed at it. At times like these we all think of people in similar situations and their ways of dealing/coping plus any home cures.
I hasten to add, it's much better the last few days and I'm well on the mend.

As its been a hot dry spring/summer here in Northamptonshire UK and we have a water meter, the husband and I bought a large butt to save water for our beloved plants. How to fill it though required a little work as it's not been raining much for months.. Washing up water dutifully poured in daily but this was taking forever. What about bath water says the husband? Great idea says I. So I let him know I am off to have a nice relaxing bath as I am volunteering all day tomorrow at a local Festival and have to be there very early. Half an hour into said relaxing bath, in comes the husband with the old hosepipe from behind the shed. He chuckes it into my bath and says put your foot on that end wife and throws the other end out of the window. Did he clean the hosepipe first..? He did NOT!!! Picture taken after I squeaked and removed the dead flies, spider, leaves and cobwebs. Life with a dull man is never really dull...
F shoe size 7. I don't eat Bananas in the bath.
*Update* Wow us DMC members sure are vocal. Thank you to everyone who has commented, the funny ones, the cheeky ones, the questioning ones and the slightly rude ones..I have tried to read them all..what a laugh my husband and I have had. This is emblematic of my dull life…
After my garbage was collected on Wednesday, it rained.
By the time I brought my garbage can down from the edge of my driveway, there was some water in there. I decided I would open it up and let it evaporate the next day with the sun.
What I didn’t realize is that it was going to rain on Thursday night.
I also didn’t realize that the corner where I put it (so it would be protected from any wind) is where the gutter is gone (that’s a long story) and apparently all of the rain from a large swath of the roof gathers and pours off right there.
This is what I saw Friday morning when I walked out. We didn’t even get that much rain!
The banana drowned. Size 10 shoes.

I am sharing a photograph of the food bowl of my cat, Phil, after I've refilled it and he's eaten his first meal. His morning routine is to eat exactly one-third of his food for breakfast. It always appears as though he has measured it with a ruler and eaten only the prescribed amount. He doesn't have access to my ruler, nor does he have the means to purchase one or the thumbs with which to hold it. I live alone with him and I did not touch his food.
Phil is a very fit and self-disciplined cat with no sign of expansion in the waist that you often see in a 4-year-old feline.
The darker kibble is rabbit, as chicken and beef make Phil itch. The lighter kibble is the tiny amount of chicken that he can eat without scratching. He loves the chicken kibble so much that I cannot bring myself to refuse it to him entirely. You can see just how disciplined Phil is--he has left some of the beloved chicken kibble in the bowl for his two later meals.
This is my first post and I apologize if the idea of rabbit kibble is exotic enough to excite anyone's sensibilities.
57F, size 8. Sorry for the lack of banana, as the only banana I currently possess is in bread and the size of the loaf would likely have left you with more questions than answers.

Hello fellow Dullsters. I came across this lamp yesterday at my mother’s house and am not sure what could have caused this Salt Lamp to create this salt crystal mineral pool. There is no visible water leaking onto it or any reason that it would be getting wet. No Banana for scale due to bewilderment while taking these photos
