New sticker!

Yesterday, this brand new sticker saw the light, promoting Corona, a mexican brand of beer with the 2026 FIFA World Cup motive.

The photo was taken during its final turn while approaching Mexico City Intl. Airport, after an hour-long flight from Puerto Vallarta.

Lufthansa’s 100 Jahre livery.

Mexico City was witness of the completely new Lufthansa’s special livery, celebrating 100 years of operations.

This afternoon, D-ABYN arrived on unbeatable lightning conditions to Mexico City International Airport.

It was amazing to see the new look of this Queen!

Starting a new life.
•
This A320 joined the Volaris fleet upon delivery in 2016. It was withdrawn from service in December 2025 and stored at San Salvador International Airport (MSLP).
On February 13th, it was ferried to Mexico City International Airport (AICM) for temporary storage. On February 27th, it flew to Amarillo, Texas, where it received a full repaint in Middle East Airlines (MEA) livery. The aircraft returned to Mexico City on March 8th.
Last Saturday, it performed a test flight south of Mexico City, overflying Acapulco and Zihuatanejo before returning to AICM, where it remains.
Still registered as XA-VLP, this 10-year-old A320 is beginning a new chapter far from its familiar skies.
