I will forever be grateful to my parents.

No matter how old I get, how many countries I visit, or how many businesses I didn’t build, I know there will always be a place where I can come back, heal, and start over.

Every time I return home, I somehow bring another story that feels too unreal to be true. At this point, my life probably has enough plot twists for a Netflix series.

So here I am.

Back in the Ural Mountains.

Living with my parents.

No photography gear.

No clear plan.

No idea what comes next.

Just my family, my dog Lucy Foo, and the quiet feeling that it’s all for the best.

Sometimes losing your plan is exactly how you find yourself.

I still love photography.
I still love dogs. It will remain always.

Sometimes courage isn’t chasing a dream.

Sometimes courage is walking away before that dream costs you yourself.

If your intuition keeps whispering…

On my last evening in New York, I was walking around DUMBO while listening to Joe Dispenza’s Trust the Universe meditation.
That meditation has pulled me through so many moments of anxiety, especially when life felt uncertain and I had no idea what was coming next.
Back then, I already knew that all three of my new companies would collapse before they even had the chance to operate. I had stepped into an industry that simply wasn’t mine. It was a painful realization, but at the same time, I reminded myself that the future can wait. The only thing we truly have is this moment.
And somehow, whenever life feels heavy, dogs always find a way to bring me back to hope.

I spotted these wonderful girls walking the happiest dog. She had this incredible energy that instantly made me smile. Just looking at her reminded me that joy still exists. baby genesis 🐾🫶🏻

I didn’t have my camera with me and I never will again - but I didn’t let that stop me. I took out my phone and captured the moment anyway.
And of course… golden hour never disappoints. ✨🐶

Sometimes God answers your prayers… just not in the way you expected.

I’ve always been a dreamer. But I’m also a doer.

Six months ago, I stepped into what I believed was the opportunity of a lifetime.

More than 10 countries. Three companies opened. Business-class flights. Five-star hotels. Michelin restaurants. From the outside, it looked like I had finally made it.

But appearances can be dangerously deceptive.

I wasn’t chasing luxury. I was chasing growth. I wanted to become more than “just” a photographer, content creator or DJ. When I was offered a business opportunity that sounded like everything I had dreamed about, I said yes.

Without listening to my intuition.

That decision changed my life.

I won’t share all the details yet, but today I’m simply grateful to be home with my parents. Again.

Alive.

Safe.

I still have a company in Dubai that I can’t afford to close, and my professional photography equipment along with many of my belongings remain in Luxembourg, with no easy way to get them back. Without any contacts to my no longer business partner.

I lost things that meant a lot to me.

But I didn’t lose myself.

Ironically, while chasing one dream, I lived so many others. Afternoon tea in London with a girlfriend I’d wanted to meet for years. Celebrating my birthday at Tiffany’s in New York. Dancing in the rain in Paris. Meeting incredible people around the world who helped me when I needed it most.

This experience taught me that success isn’t measured by luxury.

It’s measured by peace.

By purpose.

By waking up knowing you’re living your own life - not someone else’s lifestyle.

Trust your intuition.

Choose your business partners carefully. At least Google them.

Be kind.

And remember: happiness has never been hiding in expensive hotels or business-class seats. It’s been hiding in doing what you truly love.

I’m starting over.

A little wiser.
A little stronger.
Still a dreamer.

Sometimes you lose what you thought you wanted… only to find the life you were actually meant to live. ❤️
