Can you put yourself in the shoes of another?🥾🦈🐟🐬🐳
We can't possibly understand the exact feeling of another person or animal, but we can try - and this is empathy. Studies show a significant drop in empathy in our modern society - If we are losing our empathetic sense towards each other, then what's left for our fellow species we share our planet with?

Plastic litter in the ocean can cause poisoning, blockage, entanglement, starvation, and more. Marine animals die suffering because of the plastic we are so careless about. Do you feel their pain? Or imagine how they feel?

It has been determined that each year, approximately 100 MILLION marine animals are killed by plastics, among them 100,000 marine mammals and turtles and about 1 million sea birds. Plastic kills 40% of young sea turtle hatchlings who are four times more likely to be killed than adults.

Let's think twice before we use single-use plastics.
Let's put ourselves in their "shoes."

SOS: A Country Made of Plastic

Plastic pollution is a worldwide epidemic. If we keep "business as usual," by 2050, the world's oceans will contain more plastic than ocean life.

In the middle of the Pacific ocean, a vast floating island of plastic spans 1.6 million square kilometers, which is 80 times the size of Israel.

Here are a few facts to consider in 2020:

❗ A study finds that Israelis are world's No. 2 in per capita use of plastic and disposable plates and cutlery.

❗ Walking on the Mediterranean beaches, you will find that 90% of the waste found is plastic, compared with a global average of 75%.

❗ According to the WWF, Tel Aviv has the third most plastic pollution on its coastline among 22 Mediterranean countries.

❗ Compared to other countries in the region, Israel has a more efficient waste management system. However, sea currents and wind mean that the garbage from other countries accumulates on the beaches in the center of the country.

But, there are also reasons for hope:

⭐ In 2018, Herzliya launched the initiative of "A City Without Plastic," which is the first environmental initiative to stop using disposable plastic tools gradually.

⭐ In 2019, Eilat was the first city in Israel to pass a law to ban single-use plastic along the Red Sea coasts.
We want to thank the incredible individuals and organizations that are fighting for a cleaner future. Please consider giving them your support.

The Human Invasion.
Ever since we were kids, we heard stories about alien invasions to Earth, in which extraterrestrials invade to exterminate and supplant human life.

Humans are the most intelligent species on the planet and the most dangerous one.
We invaded to the ocean world, we've taken and eaten homes of an entire marine population.
What if we are the bad guys in this story? Will we find a way to change our habits for a better blue future?
It's in our hands, and the time is now.

Meet Julien Borde
Julien was modeling for "Jaws Generation" Freediving Cenotes Session, not before he shared his opinion with us about Shark Finning in Mexico and what is the way to solve this issue.

Julien is a Freediving Instructor, and a passionate marine conservationist, the interview with him was very inspiring for us.

“Who Are We Really Fishing?"

Fishing lines are part of the global overfishing issue.

In the next 40 years, we will lose most of the fish in the oceans, which we relate to as our life support system.
