Se vienen las Super-7's de ScaleTrains

When looking at the Ferromex 3800–3820 series, you might assume you're looking at a standard GE DASH 8 - but there is much more to these units than meets the eye!
These C30-S7MPs (Super 7 Microprocessor) are a fascinating piece of cross-border railroading history. Built in 1994, they were designed as a cost-saving hybrid: packing the 3,000-horsepower muscle and internal components of a C30-7, wrapped in a DASH 8 carbody, and upgraded with modern microprocessor "brains."
While they wear that familiar carbody, our all-new Rivet Counter HO Scale models are NOT carbon copies. Our ground-up tooling captures the unique, era-specific details of this 2009-present fleet:
• Unique Cab Roofline: Accurately features the distinctly different "step-down" cab profile.
• Roof-Mounted Details: Era-specific roof-mounted air conditioning units.
• Rotary Beacons: A signature of Mexican railroading, these cab-roof beacons look absolutely spectacular when paired with our operating LED lighting package!
We are happy to offer two striking Ferromex paint schemes in this run: the standard "Diabla" scheme and the "Diabla" scheme featuring the special Diexanos anniversary logo.
Preorders for the entire DASH 8 lineup are due Monday, August 31, for delivery next spring. Click the link above to explore the lineup and secure your C30-S7MPs today
