Kelimutu Lake or 3 Colors, which always changes color at any time.

There are three lakes at the top of the mountain. In the westernmost area, there is the Tiwu Ata Mbupu (meaning Old Man's Lake) lake, which is usually blue in color. Then the Tiwu Nuwa Muri Koo Fai (Lake of Young Men and Women), usually turquoise.

The lake in the southeast is called Tiwu Ata Polo (believed to be a place for evil in life), usually red or brown in color.

The three lakes often change color indefinitely.

Based on data from the Kelimutu National Park Office as reported by Pos Kupang, during 1915-2011, Ata Polo experienced 44 color changes, Nua Muri Koo Fai changed color 25 times, and Ata Mbupu gave birth 16 times. Meanwhile, according to NASA's Earth Observatory records, the Tiwu Ata Polo lake changed color four times in 2016.
