Hailing from the country of the twin towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Mah Wai Chong is a 24-years, He is born on 2nd September 1992 and is the youngest in the family. Self-proclaimed amateur director, he occasionally involves himself in freelance production and photography works. Having a great sensitivity to colours, his skills are best expressed in cinematography and editing.His love for art does

not stop merely in visuals but also extends to music such ambient, indie, electronic, and post-rock, which are often reflected in his films. His inspirations are derived from directors such as Xavier Dolan, Gus Van Sant and Wong Kar Wai. Referring to the works of these famous directors, Wai Chong will implement as well as improvise their styles of directing, cinematography and use of music into his own work, to inject fresh perspectives into the Malaysian film industry.
