Someone once asked me:
“What does it feel like to be part of such an important celebration for people you don’t even know?”
Because everyone at a wedding is usually someone important in the couple’s life. And me, or any of the other vendors, will probably only meet most of them once. (Usually, anyway 😆)
So what does it actually feel like to be part of a stranger’s wedding?
Honestly, it’s kind of a strange and wonderful feeling.
Sometimes I feel like I don’t really belong there. And other times, I’m like, “Everyone is so nice!”
And I’m really grateful that, most of the time, it’s the latter 🥹
And as I keep documenting, I slowly get to know these people. If I’m lucky, I sometimes even get to learn a little bit about their stories with the couple.
So sometimes, I even forget…
wait, I’m actually just a stranger who was supposed to meet them only once.
Thank you to all the couples who trusted this “stranger” with such an important day🥹
