Years ago, I captured this raw, unfiltered moment, a glimpse of the skyscraper’s core rising through the heavy clouds, carrying nothing more than the iconic ‘118’ etched onto its frame during construction. It was just a quiet promise back then.
Fast forward to today, and that vision stands fully constructed as Merdeka 118, the world’s second tallest building, forever reshaping the Kuala Lumpur skyline and piercing the clouds with national pride.
Watching this architectural landmark evolve from a skeletal structure hidden in the mist to a breathtaking symbol of modern Malaysia hits differently. It’s a reminder of how far we’ve come as a nation - how we build, adapt, and reach heights we once only dreamed of.
