About the photos: One of the photo is edited using RAW file and another using JPEG. Thumbs up for the photo you think is edited using RAW. (basically (y) the photo that is nicer)

Tips:
When you have more than 2GB of memory card space and you know you won't be taking more than 100 photos that day, why not try something magical call RAW.

How to:
Just press the menu button (found at the back of my DSLR, not sure about yours) and scroll to the page where you can see "Quality". Select on "Quality" and you will see the magic word RAW.

Please refer to your DSLR manual to find out where RAW is if the above technique doesn't work.

Note: Some DSLR allow you to shoot RAW and JPEG at the same time but most DSLR doesn't.
