V/Line's N473 makes a rare appearance on the Burnley Group to assist in a disabled train recovery after an infrastructure failure in the early hours of the morning.

1) N473 Light engine rounding the S bend into Tecoma.
2) N473 travels downhill out of Upwey with the Train recovered.

A few days away, flying to Brisbane for a roadtrip. Seems like Moreton Island got my attention. Then a quick ride down to Surfers Paradise to pick up said roadtrip vehicular before returning to Brisbane for the night. Of course a few landmarks to visit.

This was its first time running through to Belgrave since the level crossing was removed at Bedford Rd, and the line had reopened just 36hrs prior.

A few shots of T386 and P17 doing a few runs between Ringwood and Lilydale/Belgrave while on shift.
Almost gave the full training experience ๐Ÿ˜‚....only missed a few moves that were not doable during the day.

Quick little trip to Sydney.

Calm ferry ride across the Harbour and under the bridge. A visit to the Maritime Museum and a tour inside HMAS Onslow and HMAS Vampire. Worked out I would struggle in one of the bunks in both the vessels before I flew home for work.
