Thank You 2025+

2025 is a year that will stay with me for a very long time. It started with one of the biggest challenges of my life— a broken arm & a recovery that took way longer than I expected, physically and mentally.

Despite the challenge, I went ahead and set up my own photography studio while juggling constant hospital visits for recovery.

Thank God for clients who chose to wait for me and still trusted me with their projects even when I was completely out of action. From the moment I got back in action, it’s been non-stop: opportunities, collaborations & new doors opening one after another. On top of that, I’m fortunate to connect with inspiring people and work with brands I truly love.

To my buddies, friends, and clients: thank you for standing by me, for your trust, and for helping me achieve more than I thought possible this year that started with such tragedy.

This year was full of challenges, lessons, ups & downs…but thank you, 2025+

UOB Tower Sky Lounge+

Shot with an architectural eye using leading lines, composition and negative space to pull your focus from the lounge warm textures out to the KL city grid.

Every frame is a deliberate balance of highlight and shadow, colour contrast and symmetry, crafted to make this space feel exactly how it lives in person: elevated, calm and quietly luxurious.

While i love the to capture all the design details with wide angle lens, some may cause distortion making the interior architecture photos unpleasant. But not my trusted lens - RF 13-35mm f2.8 L, with careful composition & adjustment you can get the line perfectly straight.

Make me spend less time on post & focus on framing the best angle for the space.

Most people know me for fashion and commercial shoots, but my journey as a photographer has always been multi-disciplinary.

Still life photography gives me space to slow down and focus on lighting & form. The way light touches an object, the textures that often go unnoticed & best way to show the product design that industrial designer finest throughout the r&d process.

Today I’m sharing a slice of that world, my favorite still life portfolio - Tansho Grill. A Malaysian product that trusted by numerous top chef around the globe which many didn't know about.

I wanted to bring out the delicate texture of the stainless steel and the fine pores of the firebrick to best showcase this product. The Canon R5’s 45mp high-resolution sensor made it possible to capture those details with clarity.

As a photographer, my goal was to translate this evolution into cinematic visuals — balancing warm tones and depth to make the space feel as inviting on screen as it does in person.

With the Canon R5’s superior color science, I was able to preserve the true essence of the design and present its colors with authenticity and precision.

Timeless+

I was called by Chef Aidan to document the final chapter of his version 1.0 restaurant. After a heartfelt discussion, we decided to capture it in the most raw, authentic, and timeless way possible.

All shot with my Canon R5...in order to get the mood that i wanted, i purposely push the ISO higher because I love the organic grain it creates. For me, it adds that cinematic mood and timeless feel I adore.

What you see here isn’t just documentation—it’s a memory, a closing note to one story and the beginning of another.
