A MOMENT OF SERENITY BY THE SEA
- MASJID SELAT MELAKA

Travel has never been just about reaching destinations. It is about these precious, unspoken moments… the stillness, the connection, and the joy of sharing them with the ones we love.

A moment, standing beside the tranquil beauty of Masjid Selat Melaka, where the mosque seems to float gracefully above the sea, I found myself embraced by a gentle breeze and a calm, endless horizon. It was a moment of pure serenity — quiet, reflective, and deeply soothing.

VERZASCA, SWITZERLAND

The Verzasca is a 30-kilometre long Swiss Alpine river originating at Pizzo Barone and flowing into Lake Maggiore. It is known for its clear turquoise water and vibrant colored rocks.

During the summer and authum the river Verzasca and particularly the area of Lavertezzo, becomes a blockbuster destination and its water become inviting outdoor pools while the shores fill with swimmers in search of a place to cool off. Many limit themselves to sunbathing by laying on large rocks, others swim or dive particularly from the Ponte dei salti – an activity that requires caution, experience and common sense.

Note: At the background is the Ponte dei salti Bridge.

ICELAND'S AURORA BOREALIS (2018)

Once upon a time, on a freezing night in Iceland, we stood in awe beneath the dancing Aurora Borealis. The sky painted itself in waves of green light — calm, graceful, and divine.

A magical moment where silence met beauty, and hearts whispered SubhanAllah.

PERAK

A trip to Ipoh, Perak, wouldn't be complete without a stop at the famous Hentian Limau Bali Tambun on Jalan Gopeng. This vibrant roadside attraction is a haven for lovers of the iconic Limau Bali Tambun - better known as pomelo. Recognized as a symbol of Ipoh's agricultural pride, this juicy fruit comes in two delightful varieties: the sweet white flesh for those who prefer mild flavors and the tangy pink flesh for an adventurous, zesty kick.

What makes these pomelos truly special is their size, ranging from compact and shareable to impressively large, with prices between RM10 and RM35, depending on their size. TOPKAPI PALACE, ISTANBUL, TURKEY (2016)

Topkapi Palace, the jewel of the Ottoman Empire, stands on a peninsula in Istanbul with sweeping views of the Golden Horn, the Sea of Marmara and the Bosphorus. Built in the 15th century by Sultan Mehmet II after the conquest of Constantinople, it served as the empire's center until the 19th century, when power shifted to Dolmabahçe Palace. Over 400 years, it was renovated multiple times, but its historic architecture remains intact. In 1923, the palace became a museum, showcasing the Ottoman Empire's legacy with treasures like illuminated manuscripts, ancient weapons, diamonds, and Sacred Relics, including the Prophet’s Mantle.

In the background, the palace horse guards were patrolling the palace compound.
