What do you think the Black-eared Kite and Great Cormorant were talking about? A second Kite seemed to be listening in, too!

It's been a while since we've been out there. We were caught up with many things, and the haze has been bad. But we're hoping to get some birding done this weekend, hopefully!

We've also been playing the Wingspan board game because an expansion was just released, and because we miss going on wild adventures. For now, we're just going to relive them through our photos!

The article layout as printed on the Sarawak Tribune newspaper! 😍 We will keep sharing our works in the hopes of inspiring people to appreciate and protect animals and nature, to realize that there is more to life as it is. Truly, there is no world without the wild.

Throwback to early 2025 — spotting Ezo Red Foxes in the snow. We have yet to see these beautiful animals up close in the wild, which means we would have to visit Hokkaido again even more times, hopefully soon! 🙏

Noticed that tons of people have been unfollowing lately, but we have been busy with life other than chasing numbers! Shall dig up more photos to be posted here — so glad that we can easily relive moments through our photography.

A Brown-eared Bulbul perched amidst the beautiful white plum blossoms. It's amazing how a single picture is able to transport you to a time and place where those precious memories can be relived once more.

In just a few blinks, we are already more than halfway through 2026. Life gets in the way at times. But always remember to look for the birds — they are a reminder that there is always more to life as it is.

A record shot of a Masked Bunting we spotted during a walk at a park in Tokyo. This bird is also known as Aoji, and at first glance, we thought it was a sparrow!

Glad that we decided to take a closer look, but because it was skittish, this was the only photograph of it where its features could be seen. It was our first time realizing the existence of this bird — just goes to show how many species out there we have yet to encounter!

Birds among flowers — definitely one of the most difficult types of photos to capture! This Japanese White-eye finally perched such that it was enveloped by bunches of these beautiful sakura flowers, creating this whimsical frame.

It's Julia here — I have been busy curating letters for Wild Mail Club by TwoBehindTheLens, but I still try to post more wildlife photos here from time to time! I am longing for more wild adventures, praying that I will go for more outings soon!

IG hasn't been kind lately, I've been getting more unfollows than traction. But that's okay, these things seem so miniscule in such a beautiful world.

It was our 3rd time in Japan, and this was our first time seeing the cherry blossoms. This Japanese White-eye, also called "Mejiro", was one of many others that were flitting about from between the flowering branches. The trees were literally alive with these tiny but energetic birds.

We were the only ones photographing the birds, while other people just snapped photos of the flowers without once observing the birds. Tried to crop this photo so that it looked more artsy, what do you think?
