During Production of Reborn 重燃

This is a scene where the father and sister of our main character Ya Wen in a clinic. Location Scouting for a clinic is also one of the challenges we faced, we literally walk around 5-6 rows of shop lots just to request shooting permission! Very grateful that this clinic in PJ allow us to use this location for our shoot!

This is indeed one of the toughest scene to shoot because we can't open the fan (cause we're recording the audio) and mosquitoes from the window keep coming in and disturb us :) Another challenges we faced is that we have to put the stairs on the queen size bed in order to get the aerial shot our DOP visualised, it was quite dangerous, but the outcome had proven to us that it's worth it!

Here's a short video of our DOP, Ze Hui and Seng Kit testing camera angles for Talent Casting Session. 喜怒哀乐 (Xi, Nu, Ai, Le) means delighted, angry, sad and happy. During casting, we'll request talents to perform multiple expressions and act according to the script in their own ways.
