Within the city’s surfer community, this standing wave already enjoys cult status. Located in Salzburg, Almkanal has beckme famous for surfing as the river surfing is possible year-round. One feature that makes it quite unique is the fact the man-made wave can be adjusted in virtually no time which is convenient for pro and rookie surfers.

Maoris have a long tradition of tattooing, and they typically have it on their face and all over their bodies. The technique they use to engrave is through the cutting of the skin, creating incisions using chisel-shaped instruments made from greenstones or animal bones.

The process is excruciatingly painful as it sounds and takes several hours to complete.

One shop in Villach, Austria has a tattoo shop which serves this traditional technique of tattooing which is rare to be found in Europe. Raul, the tattooist has been licensed by the tribe chief to do this technique as it is the part of cultural norm of the tribe that the tattooist have to be approved by the chief.

The Palace of the Parliament is the heaviest building in the world, weighing about 4,098,500,000 kilograms (9.04 billion pounds; 4.10 million tonnes), also being the second largest administrative building in the world.

Bosquito is a Romanian rock band formed in Brașov in the year 1999. The group's current line-up consists of vocalist/guitarist Radu Almășan, drummer Dorin Țapu, guitarist Ciprian Pascal, bassist Mircea “Burete” Preda. The band is well known for infusing their songs with diverse influences, including Gypsy music, Latin, balkan, punk, and elements of symphonic music. Recently they had a show at with massive fans and crowd going wild with their performance.

Located in Revolution Square, the Statue of Iuliu Maniu is shown as a broken man with an unbreakable spirit.
Iuliu Maniu was the prime minister of Romania on three occasions between 1928 and 1933. Because he was an opponent of Soviet influence in Romania, after the Second World War, in 1947, he was sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labor by the Communist Regime. As it was expected according to his age and to the prison conditions, he died in prison six years later. He was buried without ceremony in a common grave in the prison courtyard.
Iuliu Maniu was a prominent figure in Romanian political life. There are few examples of his actions.

As well as the huge Reclining Buddha, a group of four huge chedis, Phra Maha Chedi Si Rajakarn, is very famous; each chedi is 42 meter high and colorfully decorated with tiles.

Each of the four Chedis was built to commemorate the reigns of King Rama I to IV of the Chakri Dynasty (current dynasty) and it's said that the green is for King Rama I, the white is for King Rama II, the yellow is for King Rama III and the dark blue is for King Rama IV

The market has all kinds of popular flowers and flora-related items, including roses, forget-me-nots, orchids, lilies and more. Most of them are sold in packs of 50 or 100 flowers in each, and prices are amazingly cheap.
