As the name of this site suggests, my name is Chong Yee. I’m a visual artist, an observer of life, and a visual storyteller. Since 4 years old, I was sent to art class where I cultivated the passion for the visual, whether it being in painting or photography. Believe it or not, I’m colorblind. But this has never been an obstacle, and on the contrary, this little ‘defect’ has actually made me more
sensitive to colors and how they correlate to one another, which plays a big part in producing some of my best works to date. I create visual pieces in both digital and film. Yes, you read that right, film. While there are definite advantages with digital, some things are done better the old-fashioned way, especially when it comes to the business of nostalgia. Moments just feel more surreal when they are captured on a physical film. Your wedding marks a significant chapter of your life and it would be my honor and pleasure to be a part of it. I don’t bite ;). I’m a very friendly guy. Throw in a little bit of whiskey in this mix and I’ll take your photographs out of this world. I am based in KL and I’d travel the world for you.
