"Over Down Under" was an international documentary of the Trans Australia Balloon Challenge produced out of Orlando, Florida. The race was one of the keystone events of the Australian Bicentennial celebrations in 1988.
The film featured the Orlando balloon of Rosie O'Gradys Flying Circus which was piloted by the legendary skydive-from-space Col. Joe Kittinger.
Whilst the Orlando camera team chased the balloons across Australia by road, the aerial DP spent most of the flight harnessed on the outside of the basket of a wide selection of different team balloons. The takeoffs were smooth and easy - the landings, less so!

In the year 2000, Flight Command of the Turkish Air Force commissioned a series of marketing films to promote the exceptional skills of the Top Gun pilots flying supersonic aerobatics with the legendary Turkish Stars.
Over a period of 7 weeks on location in central Turkey, the DP flew in-cockpit with 6 cameras and was able to shoot a total of 60 hrs of stable, dramatic, air to air footage during all of the extreme supersonic manoeuvres.
One of the final films in the series won multiple craft awards at film festivals in both New York and in Asia and the project gained the DP professional accreditation with the Society of Camera Operators.
