“We will kill you, lawyers and magistrates” said the man

JUST IN: A man was arrested today in Ondangwa after he allegedly threatened a local judicial officer, saying, “We will kill you, lawyers and magistrates,” at a shop in the town. Police were alerted and moved swiftly to identify and apprehend the suspect. He remains in custody and is expected to appear in court next week.
The incident comes amid heightened anxiety within legal circles following the shooting and acid attack on Ondangwa control prosecutor Justine Shiweda in October last year. She succumbed to her injuries earlier this month and was laid to rest in the Oshana Region last weekend.
