Years ago, I was gifted a Mamiya 645 camera by a complete stranger from Facebook. It spent years as nothing more than a prop… something I’d learn to use “one day”.

“One day” can in 2023, a couple of years after getting the camera. On a trip to Capetown, I decided to pack the camera along with, have it looked at and learn how to shoot film. I managed to shoot and develop 1 roll of film before leaving, and here are some of those photos. Some are out of focus, others a bit rushed, but each shot, intentional.

I haven’t shot a lot since then. But am working on that. Looking forward to sharing more in the future.
