I had the honour of hosting Ms Yinka and her husband at the studio earlier this year. They came in from lagos for the wives 40th shoot and I must say that this experience was an absolute thrill for me and my team. First off, Ms Yinka came with all the right energy and she was still ready to push past 1am just to get her shots. Her excitement kept us going. Her husband on the other hand reminded me of why maybe I should have studied architecture 😂; because he had a keen eye for lines, structure and perfection. Imagine having someone like him standing over your shoulders during the shoot 😂.
I remember sharing the water idea with Ms Oluyinka during the consultation and how we needed to created a make shift pool; I wasn’t very sure we would get it. It was 50/50. When I expressed my fears to the client: all she said was something along the lines of “don’t worry we would give it our best and I trust something would come out of it, let’s do it Big H; I can’t wait”
It’s always nice when your clients see themselves as partners in the entire creative process. It made the work and the entire process seamless. Don’t worry I won’t talk about the fights and little disagreements on outfits and co 😂😂(inside joke). The most important part is that we found a common ground for what turned out to be an absolutely amazing shoot experience. I’ll photograph Ms Oluyinka and her husband over and over again. Good people : Good Vibes .
Please let me know your favourite slide and don’t forget to leave a comment. (I’ll post BTS on my story)
Shout out to the creative team who worked tirelessly to make this experience a success.
