10 years ago, I made one of the most daring decisions of my life, I left a stable career in banking to pursue my passion for photography and storytelling. It wasn’t an easy choice, but I felt deeply called to create something of my own, to tell stories through visuals, and to yield to a burning desire to carve a path where my creativity could shine.
Barely 3 months into this journey, I faced one of my toughest challenges: I lost my mentor – ‘Deji Tewogbade, an ANGEL and more. He was my biggest source of guidance and encouragement, the one who believed in me and provided a back to lean on. His passing shook me to my core and made me question if I was strong enough to continue without his wisdom and support.
In hindsight, I see that moment as a defining point in my journey. It taught me resilience, the value of self-belief and the importance of pressing on even when the road ahead feels uncertain. As a matter of fact, his passing provided the succour I needed to navigate 2 other great losses I’ve had; my cousin – Samuel Odede and my elder brother, Johnson Odede, keep resting Dear brothers!
Over these 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless memories, helping businesses and individuals tell their stories, and building a career I am incredibly proud of. The journey has been far from easy, but every setback has been a stepping stone, and every success has been a reminder that the risk was worth it after all.
To all aspiring entrepreneurs out there, your DREAM is valid! Your journey might not be smooth, but it will be worth it in the end. Keep pushing, stay consistent, and trust the process.
And to everyone who has connected me to opportunities or offered me encouragement in any way, I am eternally grateful. Your kindness and support have kept the flame burning, it would have been impossible to reach this point without you. Thank you!🙏🏽 🤗
