It all started on a lonely night while I was scrolling through TikTok. Out of nowhere, I noticed someone liking my pictures. At first, I didn’t pay much attention to it… but the notifications didn’t stop. Then I saw that the same person had followed me on Instagram.
Normally, I would’ve taken my time before following back, that’s just how I am. But this time? I don’t know… something felt different. So I followed him back.
Less than five minutes later, I received a DM.
I checked his page and couldn’t help but blush. Without overthinking it, I replied right away. One conversation turned into hours of talking. We exchanged numbers, and before we knew it, we were planning to meet the following week.
After our first meetup, the rest is history.
Everything happened so fast, yet it felt so natural. It was magical ; the connection, the trust, the love. It just clicked. Effortlessly. Perfectly.
And now, we’re doing life together.
An extraordinary feeling. ✨

In 2010, in secondary school, I met a girl who quietly changed something in me.
She was in JSS2. I was in SS2.
Even at that age, I knew she was different.
I couldn’t explain it then — I just knew I liked being around her. I bought her and her brother lunch during breaks. I waited to see her off when school closed. I found joy in the smallest moments with her. Even when my classmates teased me for crushing on someone in a lower class, it didn’t matter.
What I felt was real.
Then life moved forward. I graduated, and she changed schools. But distance didn’t stop me. I rode my bicycle just to see her at her new school , just to catch a glimpse, just to say hello.
Eventually, life pulled us in different directions. We lost contact. Messages went unanswered. Time passed.
But she never truly left my heart.
I reached out over the years — even sent messages on Facebook that got no reply. Still, somehow, hope remained.
Then in 2023, God rewrote our story.
We reconnected — not as kids anymore, but as two people shaped by time, growth, and life. And suddenly, everything made sense.

Every wait.
Every silence.
Every unanswered message.

I had always told her I would marry her.
She never took me seriously.
But deep down, I meant it — even when I didn’t fully understand how or when it would happen.
Today, I’m marrying the girl I admired as a teenager.
The girl my heart recognized before I even knew what love truly was.
The girl God kept for me through years of separation, missed timing, and unanswered prayers.
This is more than a wedding.
It’s destiny fulfilled.
It’s a promise kept across time.
It’s proof that real love doesn’t fade — it waits, it grows, and it finds its way home.
Today, forever begins…

It all began the day after my best friend’s wedding in 2020. A group of friends gathered, laughter filling the air, and there was Aisosa—warm, kind, and offering to get us food. A small gesture, but one that quietly planted a seed.

He found a way to get my number (to this day, I’m not sure how!) and soon we were exchanging light conversations, the kind that linger but don’t yet reveal their full meaning. He let me know he was interested, but at the time, I wasn’t available. So, we remained friends—meeting occasionally, sharing moments in groups, never knowing what was waiting for us ahead.

Then came 2021. Somehow, he knew the timing was right. His calls came more often, his visits became warmer, and his care felt deeper. He was patient, intentional, and persistent in the most endearing way. After graduation, he asked me again to be his girlfriend—and this time, I said yes.

From that moment, we’ve been building something beautiful—four years of laughter, growth, and love, counting joyfully towards forever.

The first time I met Naomi was at a wedding in 2019. I approached her with what I believed was the wittiest line I could come up with in that spontaneous moment, and somehow, it worked. That brief exchange sparked a conversation that would unknowingly change everything.

One memory that will never fade is watching one of my friends, a groomsman dance with her after the grand entrance. I turned to him and jokingly said, “Why are you dancing with my wife?” Little did I know then how true those words would one day become.

What began as a casual conversation quickly grew into something deeper. We found ourselves talking often, spending hours on late-night phone calls, sharing our stories, dreams, and ideas. With every conversation, our connection grew stronger.

As I got to know Naomi more, I realized just how special she truly is, kind, thoughtful, driven, and full of life. Over time, our bond deepened, and together we’ve built a relationship rooted in love, friendship, trust, and mutual respect.
