Exactly a week ago, my father reached a milestone age. Thinking of how time flies makes me nostalgic, because I remember how lots of things have happened over the years, with changes right and left, the good, the bad and the ugly.
This man has been through it all, and all while remaining sane and grounded in his faith and his career.
I celebrate a man whose resilience is nothing short of amazing, a man who has a strong will and a soothing voice.
Congratulations, Dad. I love you, old man.
