A few weeks ago, we had the privilege of documenting the burial ceremony of Late, Chief Oladunjoye Theophilus Aregbesola.

A life may come to an end, but the memories, love, and legacy left behind continue to speak.

A Legend's Final Journey

No matter how old our loved ones or parents may be, when they pass on, our hearts still break. We cry because love never grows old. Their absence reminds us of a truth we often forget,that no one lives on earth forever.

Last week, the late Chief Oladunjoye Theophilus Aregbesola was laid to rest at his residence in Ijesha Isu, Ekiti State. It was a remarkable and well-attended farewell that became the talk of the town. The burial ceremonies featured rich cultural displays, heartfelt tributes, and the presence of distinguished personalities from within and outside Nigeria.

This short video captures the emotional procession as the late Chief was brought into the ancient town of Ijesha Isu, accompanied by traditional music and dance through the streets to his residence. It also includes moments from the final interment the following day.

It was a deeply emotional occasion as children, grandchildren, family members, friends, and well-wishers struggled to hold back their tears. It was a solemn reminder that every journey on earth has an end, and every life leaves behind a legacy.

Chief Oladunjoye Theophilus Aregbesola, we love you, but Christ loves you more. Rest peacefully, sir.
