In my line of work, a tripod stands as a major equipment mostly used to elevate/support a camera. It is also used to achieve steady shots and fluid panning. 8 out of 10 times, this equipment is roughly necessarily utilized in various productions.

Few hours before, we concluded a scheduled meeting with our partners from MET and Abuja. They had flown in days before but the reason was far from official.

They had long heard about the globally recognized Nike Art Gallery and wanted a chance to visit the place but for me, I was a regular customer lol 😂

I am quite acquinted with the gallery and it's owner so I was feeling myself until I discovered that our Big Shot from Abuja had met Madam Nike Davis-Okundaye during his service year in 1991.

NYSC in 1991? Omo, how much was the allowee? 😂

Today’s Test Shoot.

Preparation is essential for every production, however, an often over-looked aspect of pre-production is test shooting.

Test shoot is one of the most important aspect of pre-production. It is the process of experimenting with shot angles, actors positions, movements, exposure, depth of field and lighting levels to determine specific captures of scenes to know what works where.

This helps the entire team with knowing where to improve on during production. More essentially, it helps with reduced errors in post-production.

My set is never boring. 👍
