Spotlight on: Joshua Chukwume β also known as Atomofafrica, a portrait photographer, cinematographer, video editor, and postgraduate architecture student, resident in the city of Awka.
In his words,
βGodβs hand is upon me, so I am differentβ¦ I do not participate in the rituals of this world because I am separated unto His purpose.β
Joshuaβs journey is proof that creativity is spiritual work β a calling, not just a skill.
As a visual artist and architect in training, he builds more than images and structures; he builds meaning, purpose, and identity. His work carries intent, and his life carries conviction.
But beyond all the talent and vision, Joshua holds onto one truth that keeps him grounded:
βRemember why you started, boy.β
A reminder that passion should outlive pressure.
That purpose should be louder than comparison.
That consistency is born from knowing the foundation you stand on.
His story reflects discipline, faith, and the courage to stay aligned with who God designed him to be β no matter the noise around him.
The α»HỀ Project by 99Mortimedia celebrates 100 faces and 100 stories β shining light on the people who make Awka a city of dreams, creativity, and identity.
