The other day, I got a call.
“Hey AB, are you in town?”
“Yes.”
“Great! My mum’s birthday is on Saturday. We’d love to take some photographs of her, but it has to be very early in the morning because she has an appointment.”
I said, “Okay, cool.”
It was short notice and I’m not a fan of that. My policy clearly states that image delivery takes one week. That timeline allows us to work without rushing and give you the best possible results. But sometimes, for the right relationship, rules can bend.
One of the most special moments from this shoot was discovering her beautiful grey hair. I couldn’t end the session without capturing it. it was graceful, powerful, and full of story.
I’m grateful we were able to create these beautiful images for her 65th birthday, and I already look forward to her 70th.
