Proud to announce the arrival this month of The Iconic American House written by and published by .This fresh and ambitious book celebrates fifty influential and inspirational American architectural masterpieces from across the 20th Century and into the 21st.

With original and extensive photography by Richard Powers and texts by architectural and design writer Dominic Bradbury, the featured houses range from Edith Wharton’s 1902 home The Mount, in Massachusetts, all the way through to Tom Kundig’s 2010 project The Pierre in the San Juan Islands of Washington State.

The book features many landmark projects such as Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, Mies van der Rohe’s Farnsworth House and Philip Johnson’s Glass House, but there are also lesser known exemplars such as Alden B. Dow’s House & Studio, Albert Frey’s House II in Palm Springs and more contemporary classics such as Steven Holl’s Ex of In and Rick Joy’s Woodstock Farmhouse.

Over 320 pages, with a pleasing hardback format, the book builds into a survey of the best in American residential architecture from the last one and hundred and twenty years. The book is available now from all good outlets.
