Spring in the Netherlands is one of my favourite times of the year. All of the flowers explode with colour everywhere you look an everything just feels so much more joyful and light. I had so much fun with these two for their engagement shoot in Amsterdam. We even had the first tulips in the photos lining some of the street next to the canals.

As 2025 is drawing to a close I look back on a year filled with happy moments, laugh, tears and meeting new friends. That is why I want to share this Surprise engagement shoot I did before Christmas. It is a time for new beginnings and things to look forward to but also to celebrate the ups and downs of the year that passed.

2025 you could have lasted a while longer. But here is to all of the couples getting married in 2026 (including myself) and all the wonderful moments I still have to document...

I get lucky that I work with the most fun couples out there to capture their love stories... I also get lucky that I keep in touch with them and catch up over drinks later like I had with these two.
