Deep BV is a survey company based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, specializing in hydrography, geophysics and oceanography. Deep maps everything on, around and in the subsurface three-dimensionally by means of advanced technology, both on land and on water. The employees of Deep are experienced hydrographic surveyors, geologists, geophysici
sts and engineering geologists. A good collaboration between these various specialties within multidisciplinary projects is important to come to high-tech solutions. Deep carries out projects for the dredging and offshore industry, contractors, governmental organizations and engineering companies. Deep uses the following techniques: Multibeam, singlebeam, sidescan sonar, magnetometer, sub-bottom profiling, ground penetrating radar (GPR), radio detection, resistance measurements, EM-methods, dGPS positioning, under-water video and positioning, wave and tidal measurements, vibrocoring etc.
