Check out this list of photo spots that have probably changed forever. Natural disasters, erosion, vandalism or new constructions have altered the view in a way that we will never be able to see this place again the way you see it in these photo’s. Underneath each photo I will explain what has changed in recent years.
P.S. There are many more places that vanished or changed but I only included the ones I captured and are aware of.

The very famous Wanaka tree in New Zealand. In 2020 some people vandalised it by cutting off that big low branch.
The very populair black sand beach in Iceland, called Reynisfjara, has been eroded away after heavy weather earlier this year. The sand is gone now and this particular place made place for rocks and water now. Because of that it is impossible to even reach it. The part of the beach next to the parking area isn’t really a sandy beach anymore as it is scattered with big black rocks.
This is Uluwatu in southern Bali. A famous seascape view with a temple on a cliff. Authorities have sadly created a huge road with wave breakers around the bottom of the cliffs.
This is Perito Moreno glacier in Argentina. Recent temperature increase/climate change has caused the glacier to withdraw substantially. Therefore you are by far not as close to the glacier anymore as before when standing on the viewing platforms. This is BTW also the case at basically any other glacier in the world. But Perito Moreno always seemed the be immune, well sadly not apparently.
The rock is still there, but the background has changed forever. Back in 2021 there was a volcanic eruption on La Palma that swept away hundreds of houses and created a huge lava river all the way to the ocean. This photo was taken earlier in 2021.
At this famous waterfall in Java they have built a huge parking on the right side. So from this drone angle
