Camalux groeit verder door in 2026! 🚀

De bestaande samenwerking binnen Camalux breiden wij steeds verder uit. Klanten profiteren straks van één netwerk met gedeelde voordelen, waaronder het meenemen van klantenkortingen binnen de aangesloten bedrijven en de mogelijkheid om materiaal op te halen en terug te brengen bij meerdere vestigingen. Door het delen van onze inventaris wordt het aanbod van alle partners beter en sterker.

Onder één gezamenlijke naam zetten wij ook in België de volgende stap vooruit. Lux & Co en Camalot Belgium bundelen hun krachten om samen een sterkere, geïntegreerde positie uit te bouwen in de verhuur van high-end apparatuur. Onder één gezamenlijke naam gaan zij in België verder als Camalux Belgium.

Onze samenwerking in België bouwt voort op het bewezen partnerschap tussen Cam-a-Lot, Maloney en Lux & Co in Amsterdam. Hiermee versterken we het Camalux netwerk en onderstrepen we onze gezamenlijke toewijding aan kwaliteit, innovatie en service binnen de Benelux. Op deze manier ondersteunen wij ambitieuze producties in de hele Benelux en ver daarbuiten. Of het nu gaat om digital cinema, licht, grip, stroomoplossingen of technische ondersteuning op de set: ons gezamenlijke team staat klaar voor alle soorten producties.

We just received the first European Metric set of Sigma Aizu Primes! 👏🔥

The first four lenses are the 25mm, 32mm, 50mm and 75mm, with four additional focal lengths coming soon.

The Aizu Primes cover large format sensors and offer a T1.3 aperture across all lenses. Compact, with a 95mm front, and lightweight at just 1.7kg, they offer speed and flexibility with the familiar Sigma housing.

Our choice was based on a movie idea that feels urgent and quirky. At it's core, it's a self-examination that holds up a mirror not only to the creator, but also to the film industry and society as a whole.

Congratulations to Juliette van Ardenne with her filmproject ''Bess''. Bess tells the story of an aging actress who spirals into madness, driven by the fear of being eclipsed by her own daughter. It's an ambitious work in both form and content.

We look forward to following the next steps in Juliette's career and wholeheartedly support her ambition.

The second edition of the Netherlands Society of Cinematographers (NSC) & Camalot Amsterdam Cameras & Drinks was another great success.

This time, the focus was on 65mm, with new cameras from ARRI, Fujifilm, and Blackmagic, and a wide selection of lenses from brands like Leitz, IBE, Gecko, Kipon, 2nd Reef, and ARRI Rental.
