Originally introduced in 1971 as groundbreaking SLR glass, these lenses have been beautifully resurrected by True Lens Services (TLS) into a premium, modern cinema set.

What makes them so special? It’s all in the Electron Beam Coating (EBC). Up to 11 ultra-thin layers of metallic coatings create striking, multi-colored flares in shades of purple, red, and gold. Combined with a gentle softening toward the corners, a subtle glow on the highlights, and a beautiful textured bokeh, this set delivers an unmatched vintage soul.

Built in the spirit of classic M lenses from the 1930s and 50s, the HEKTOR brings a wholly unique character to the mirrorless era. Think dynamic flares, field curvature, fall off, and that unmistakable spherical aberration. All carefully balanced with modern coatings that keep chromatic aberration in check.

| About this production |

Behind this massive production is Done+Dusted, the same team behind the Super Bowl halftime show and the Oscars, with Hamish Hamilton directing the show. The show takes place at the historic Gwanghwamun Square, right in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace. A location that has never hosted an event like this before.

The stage is designed as a large LED cube that transforms itself throughout the show, captured by our cameras from every angle. Because it's an outdoor public space, there was no possibility of a full rehearsal on the actual stage, making the role of a reliable multicam setup even more critical.

Proud to have contributed our gear and expertise to this production and we are looking forward to seeing the show 🇰🇷

‘Close Your Eyes Hind’ wins award for Best Film at the VERS Awards 2026! 🎥✨

“Close Your Eyes Hind” by Amir Zaza took home Best Film at the 30th edition of the VERS Film Awards, earning a €10,000 production budget made possible by Camalot and FLOW. The film also won Best Screenplay (supported by Scriptacademy) and the Audience Award (sponsored by LAB111, with 48% of the votes), making it the standout of the night.

The jury praised the film for amplifying the voices of Hind, her family, and many Palestinians, showing the true power of cinema to make us confront what we might otherwise avoid.

Other winners included:
– Best Cinematography: “Wanklank” (Sean Louw), awarded a €2,500 budget by Camalot
– Best Editing: “Kus Kus Beng Beng” (Scott Dancy), awarded a €2,500 budget by FLOW

The event, hosted at LAB111, also featured talks, panels, and immersive experiences, bringing together emerging filmmakers and industry professionals.
