Y’a trop de monde l’été, on a crevé de chaud, mais n’empêche, cet endroit m’a mis une petite claque. On était basé à Anglet, et on a fait quelques balades à Biarritz, on est même monté jusqu’à Seignosse pour voir des copains. J’ai passé des heures à me délecter du mouvement des vagues, à me faire retourner comme un pancake, à me prendre des gens, des enfants, normal, on se partageait dix mètres carrés d’espace de baignade surveillée. Sur le sable, j’avais l’impression d’être venue avec les voisins qui nous embaumaient avec leur fumée de j*in* (merci j’ai pas fait 1500km pour sentir ça ). Bref. Je crois qu’ils m’ont entendu bi***er et du coup je pense que c’est eux qui m’ont embarqué ma flipflop droite et je suis donc repartie - clopin-clopant - jusqu’à la voiture. Heureusement que je me balade avec deux paires de chaussures vu qu’on allait au restau après (j’avoue, c’était pas exprès mais dorénavant je le ferai à chaque fois).
It’s too crowded in the summer, we were dying of heat, but still, this place really blew my mind. We were based in Anglet, and we went for a few walks in Biarritz, we even went up to Seignosse to see some friends. I spent hours enjoying the movement of the waves, getting flipped like a pancake, and bumped into by people and children. That’s normal—we were all sharing about ten square meters of supervised swimming area. On the sand, I felt as if I had come along with the neighbours, who were enveloping us in their w**d smoke (haha sorry but I didn’t travel 1500km to smell that I know). Anyway. I think they heard me complaining and so I think it was them who took my right flip-flop and so I left - hobbling - to the car. Luckily I walk around with two pairs of shoes (I admit, it wasn’t on purpose but from now on I’ll do it every time).
